Douglas Alexander McMahon... soccer family (father Sandy, brother Bill)... he was married to Elizabeth Bruce (their children Judith, Doug Jr)... he was the best man at teammate Donnie McLean's wedding on 22 May 1948... he was 79 years old when he passed away in Montr茅al on 16 April 1997... served in World War II for the Royal Canadian Navy (19 June 1941 to 31 August 1945)...
posthumously honoured by the 撸撸视频 Hall of Fame as a player (he was shortlisted as an original alternate by The Soccer Hall of Fame in 2000 and then honoured as part of the Class of 2002)... in 1950, he was one of 16 footballers shortlisted in a Best in 50 Years poll by The Canadian Press... as part of 撸撸视频鈥檚 Centennial in 2012, recognised in the Best XI from 50 Years (1912-1962)...
